StarLEDTechnology has been the lighting partner for Fort Canning’s annual Christmas Light-Up at Festival at the Fort for the past few years.

In 2025, the organisers chose to partner with us again, reflecting their confidence in our reliability, consistency, and execution capability.

Fort Canning Park is a national heritage site with deep historical significance. The lighting design approach focused on enhancing the festive atmosphere while respecting the natural landscape, mature trees, and heritage character of the park.

For this edition, the objective was to create a day-to-night lighting experience. Selected elements were designed to provide visual interest and ambience during daytime hours, while at night, meteor lights were introduced to create scale, movement, and visual presence around the main feature tree.

As visitors move through the park, the experience unfolds through a series of specialty interactive lighting elements inspired by nature, including mushroom- and insect-themed lights, complemented by subtle ambient soundscapes. These features were carefully integrated to blend naturally with the surroundings, encouraging exploration and immersion without overwhelming the environment.

Despite a tight project timeline, lighting production and delivery were expedited within one month, with efficient on-site installation completed in time to meet the festival opening schedule.

This project demonstrates StarLEDTechnology’s capability in delivering custom lighting solutions for heritage public spaces, balancing environmental sensitivity, creative design, and dependable execution.
