A MNC construction company engaged us to provide worksite lighting across a large reclamation area in Tuas South, where Singapore’s new PSA port is being developed.

The roads leading up to the worksite were completely unlit every night.

This created safety risks for drivers transporting workers and heavy construction materials across long stretches of undeveloped road.

The nearest power access points were kilometres away, and pulling cables across a temporary industrial road did not make commercial sense given the scale and cost involved.

We recommended and supplied solar split street lights, a design where the solar panel and light head are two separate units.

This allows the panel to be independently angled toward maximum sunlight exposure, regardless of pole placement.

Each unit operates at 80W, requires zero cable installation, and functions reliably through the night on clean solar energy.

The result was safe, well-lit roads across the worksite with no cable pulling, free green solar energy, and no disruption to site operations during installation.
